Who we are

Velantir Labs operates velantirlabs.com and provides Velantir, a narrative risk intelligence platform. References to “we” and “us” mean Velantir Labs.

What we collect

Enquiry data. When you submit the demo request form we collect your work email, full name, company, job title and phone number.

Usage data. We may collect standard technical information such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type.

Platform data. For customers, we process the Protected Assets, keywords and configuration you set up, together with the externally available signals Velantir analyses on your behalf.

How we use it

To respond to demo requests and manage the commercial relationship; to operate, secure and improve the platform; to understand which parts of the site are useful; and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry data for unrelated marketing without a clear opt-in.

Sources Velantir analyses

Velantir is designed to analyse publicly available or licensed external signals — for example public social posts, news articles and search interest. It is not designed to ingest private communications, customer internal systems or special-category personal data.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that host our infrastructure, deliver our website, store content and support customer communication. These providers act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may disclose data where required by law.

Retention

Enquiry data is retained only as long as needed to respond and manage the commercial conversation. Customer platform data is retained for the period agreed in the applicable contract and deleted or aggregated afterwards.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Cookies and analytics

We use only what is needed to operate the site and to understand aggregate usage. Where analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required.

Security

Our current security practices, and the assurance work we have not yet completed, are described on our Security & Trust page.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product and our obligations evolve. The date above reflects the current version.
